Woodturning A Pair of Hair Sticks in Iroko

In this video I turn a pair of hair sticks for my sister birthday using two Iroko blanks 1" square and 8 1/2" long.

This is a fairly challenging project as the very small diameter of wood can easily snap with the slightest catch of a tool.
It is an excellent project for practising with a skew chisel or working on fine details. Perfect as a gift for a female family member or friend too.
