Dr. Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank Group

In October 2018, Dr. Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank Group, joined his old friend Dr. Paul Wise of Stanford Medicine for a conversation about improving the health of the poorest communities around the world.

Before an audience of nearly 200 Stanford students and faculty members, they talked about their work and the keys to accomplishing big goals during the Conversation in Global Health event.

Wise is a senior fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute and a core faculty member of the Center for Innovation in Global Health.
