How to Install a Garden Retaining Wall

In this video I show how to install a garden retaining wall. I started by first removing the old rock retaining wall. I then shoveled out a relatively level trench and poured in some stone paver base material. I then packed down the stone paver base. Next, I pounded in some stakes along the edge of the trench, and using string and a level created a reference line for placing in the first tier of stone pavers. The string line insured my first tier of pavers was level. After the first tier was installed, the rest of the work installing the garden retaining wall was a breeze. After putting on two more tiers of stone pavers, I backfilled around the retaining wall to complete the project.
