The Haight is a neighbourhood in San Francisco that is known to be the birthplace of the hippie culture. Divided into two distinct sections, Upper Haight and Lower Haight, this neighbourhood retains its eclectic charms long after the Summer of Love has passed, and continues to attract visitors from all over the world. With contemporary restaurants, vintage and second-hand shops, and exclusive boutiques, The Haight continues to oozes a bohemian charm.

The Painted Ladies, a stone's throw away, at 710-720 Steiner Street, is a row of Victorian houses, and is known as the "Postcard Row".
