For these kids, sunlight is deadly. They have xeroderma pigmentosum, or XP. This gene mutation which means their skin doesn’t protect them from sun rays. To avoid cancer, they have to stay indoors, and live at night. At Camp Sundown, they get an opportunity to have fun in the dark and make friends with those who face the same challenges.
