Making a Tropical 1940's Dress - Summer Sewing 2019

Welcome back to my sewing room where today I'm making another 1940's inspired dress, again in rayon challis! This time we have a lovely colorful tropical print to work with before summer ends here :) Watch me pattern draft and sew, cut a few corners and stitch late into the night once again. I am super happy with how this dress came out and I can't wait to make this pattern in another fabric!

The next project will be a 1950's inspired dress in cotton sateen, so that will be a nice change from all this rayon lately!

Again, yes I sew over pins, yes I am kinda sloppy with lazy zippers--I'll sew my way, you can sew your way, and we will all make cute stuff mmkay? Mmkay :)
