After our last EPIC fail attempt to make soap from a deep fryer, this time I finally got it right! The key was adding a stabilizer (coconut oil) to our deep fried soy bean oil. The grease collection place I got this oil was pretty awesome. It had two 2000 gallon vats of grease being collected to make bio diesel fuel. The actual Asian restaurant this grease was pulled from is being kept confidential because I’m basically breaking all sorts of contracts by using this grease to make soap… but, you know science so it’s cool.

Did you guys think this was even possible? I mean, we made real soap from grease that made egg rolls and shrimp tempura! Let me know in the comment section below!
