ReRebuild of LT1 ERE-383 number 108
ERE-383 number 108 has been waiting for me to rebuild it with new 4.040" pistons. The bore was 4.034 and I thought that would be fine keeping the same 4.030" piston since this was a blower motor. But I think the pistons rocked too much in the bore. So I am just now getting around to installing the 4.040" coated Mahle pistons. This engine will see the dyno one more time after I finish the assembly. I have a feeling the engine will be happier with the new set up.
