Silage making at Oakchurch Farm

Our lovely Herefordshire grass is highly nutritious and during the summer we cut it and store it to feed and our animals at Oakchurch Farm through the winter months. This year it's a mixture of grass, clover and lucerne. Farmers call it silage and our animals absolutely love it! It's all part of what goes into giving Oakchurch beef its amazing flavour and melt-in-the-mouth texture. Here's farmer Jeremy Price to tell us more about it.
