Cube i7 Book Tablet PC Review (Surface Pro Alternative)

A review of the Cube i7 Book, a tablet PC running an Intel Core-M processor on a Windows 10 OS. Overall performance is solid and compares nicely with the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 (it uses the exact same screen). It comes equipped with 4GB of RAM (Samsung), a 64GB SSD SATA 3, USB 3.0 port, and USB Type-C port. The 1080p screen has Wacom support and it works fluidly with any electromagnetic stylus.

The one downfall to the Cube i7 Book is it's poor heat dissipation, causing the Core-M to reach high temperatures. However, this is a relatively simple fix with some thermal paste, a copper shim, and some thermal pads. With this mod, I was able to lower the overall temperatures by around 50°C.
