How to make mulberry paper roses - Petronela

Mulberry paper is probably the best type of paper you could use in your cards if you want to make 3D flowers and not just flowers that lie flat on your cards.

This video takes you through the different types of mulberry paper, from thin to very thick with examples of what types of mulberry flowers you can achieve.

When you have finally decided what type of flowers you want to achieve, you can cut your paper in the shape of the flower you want to make or you can use your usual pattern you used for cutting similar flowers. From here onwards the process is very simple and involves simply cutting and gluing the petals in order to construct your flower or rose.

Additionally, you can use distress ink for the edges or middle of your rose or flower, after which you can add stamens/pistils to the center of your flower or crystals.

Depending on what type of card you are going to use your mulberry rose/flower you can further paint the edges or the middle with glitter.
