This is a sort of practice run through for an even bigger painting for Ashton and her husband. They ordered a 36x48 inch canvas painting, and I /knew/ I did not want to try painting straight onto the canvas without a practice run to work out all the kinks. And I'm glad I did because we decided to change a pretty big thing from this to the final painting (but you'll have to check that out in part 2 and the actual painting vids).

One trick that I've found in using acrylic vs. spray paint with a brush is that acrylic will rub off of spray paint if still wet. So I like using it for all the details in case I mess up.
Also, I did paint that white wolf on the moon by hand. But since it was so hard to see, took me forever to get it right, and the video was already going to be over 40min long, I cut that part out. I did the white first because if I couldn't rub it away like I wanted to, it wouldn't show as much, so I would be able to get the wolf looking the way I wanted it to.
