How hypnosis can positively change your beliefs: Lucas Handwerker at TEDxBocaRaton
NOTE FROM TED: Please do not look to this talk as a substitute for mental health advice. This talk only represents the speaker's personal views and understanding of hypnosis. Neurolinguistic programming lacks legitimate scientific support. We've flagged this talk because it falls outside the content guidelines TED gives TEDx organizers. TEDx events are independently organized by volunteers. The guidelines we give TEDx organizers are described in more detail here: http://storage.ted.com/tedx/manuals/tedx_content_guidelines.pdf
It is my belief that in the right state of mind, all people are capable of all things. It is my goal to explore this state of mind with my audiences, and facilitate a process. The minds full potential lies dormant, locked away, I am simply here to offer the key."
It is with this belief that Lucas uses Hypnosis, Neurolinguistic Programing, and psychological suggestion to guide people to the part of their mind where there are no limits.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
