Toulouse Lautrec, the Montmartre Painter | Full Documentary
Early in his career, Toulouse Lautrec was heavily influenced by impressionism and had close connections with Edgar Degas and Vincent Van Gogh. A frequent patron of cabarets such as the Moulin Rouge and the brothels of Montmartre, he gained recognition for his portraits of dancers and prostitutes. Additionally, he had a deep fascination with the circus and was drawn to the fluid movements of performers, both human and animal.
