“The Little Mermaid” told the story of a young sea creature who was fascinated by the world of humans. She was ready to do anything to walk on the land, exchanging her voice for a pair of legs. Unfortunately, fans were disappointed to watch a story that was similar to what they had already seen.

In “Pocahontas,” Disney turned the sad story of a Native American girl into a fairy tale. Many fans were already upset to see that it was far from the original story. They could have learned from their mistake, but instead, they released “Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World.” Once again, fans were upset when they learned that what truly happened to this hero was far from a love story.
