Toned paper sketchbook w/ INK AND WASH WATERCOLOR ✶ Coastal plein air sketching

In this video I'll show you how I paint the coast with ink and wash in my toned paper watercolor sketchbook by Hahnemuhle. #ink #pleinair

This video is a bit different from my other plein air videos. It's more of a "inside the mind of the artist" style and lets you hear the various things I'm thinking as I paint.
This coastal sketch was done with non-waterproof ink in my Hahnemuhle beige watercolor sketchbook using a dagger brush. I added some white gel pen at the end, and a little regular pen on the rocks.

Plein air can be overwhelming and intimidating, but all we can do is just approach it calmly and take it little by little.

FYI - I'm not doing #inktober this year, but I always get inspired and end up doing some kind of ink during October!
