This is my first visit ever to Australia and while I suspected I'd like it, I couldn't have imagined I'd fall in love with it almost immediately. This is arguably the most "livable" place I've ever visited - where I can imagine myself settling down long-term.

My Australian trip began in Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland inhabited by 2 million people. While less visited than Sydney and Melbourne, it's an excellent place to start an adventure in Queensland, which has some magnificent beaches and places to explore.

I stayed in an AirBnB in Fortitude Valley, which might be the best neighborhood of Brisbane - walking distance to everything and set amongst fantastic cafes, restaurants and shopping.
