What is Borderline Personality Disorder?

In this video Darren Magee discussed the nine criteria set out in DSM 5 to diagnose Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). At least five of the criteria must be considered to be inflexible, pervasive, long standing and lead to significant distress and impairment.

Part of the Cluster B group of personalities, it is a mental health condition often diagnosed with cocurring disorders such an anxiety disorder or an eating disorder.

Also looking at symptoms such as difficulty regulating emotion, unstable relationships and being in a state of high alert
