2010年10月18日16:40に恩賜上野動物園から京都市動物園に到着したゴリラのモ
モタロウが，今年で在園満11年となり，ゲンタロウはモモタロウが来園した時の
年齢である10歳を迎えます。そこで，モモタロウが来園した際の受入の様子やゲ
ンキとの同居・交尾の様子を御紹介するページを開設しました。
　映像は公式Youtubeでの御視聴となります。御興味がございましたら，この機
会に10年前の来園当初のモモタロウ，ゲンキの様子をご覧いただければと思います。

今日も，0008F（ゲンキ）と0014M（モモタロウ）の同居を実施。
　同居場所：中央グラウンド（午前9時30分～午後15時30分）。
　午前中の接触は見られなかったが，PM13:15より，初めての接触が見られた。
　グラウンドへの給餌後，モモタロウはテーブル上，ゲンキは東グラウンドとの窓付近で，それぞれ採食していた。ゲンキが夢中で餌を探していた時，モモタロウがゲンキへ接近した。ゲンキは油断をしていた様子で，モモタロウに捕まった。
　その際，ゲンキは殆ど抵抗せずに伏せており，モモタロウは，頭部を甘噛みしながら，バックをとり，マウントの体勢となった。
　その後，数分押さえつけていた。それから，4回（初回を含めると5回）の接触があり，ゲンキは，その度にバックを取られ，甘噛みや，押さえつけにあっていた。
　ゲンキが反撃し，モモタロウが逃げる場面や倒される場面も確認された。ゲンキの傷は，左ひじ，右肩甲骨付近，右大腿部右足の甲，右第2，4，5指，頭頂部で確認できた。いずれも浅く，夕方には多くが目立たなくなっていた。モモタロウは，右ふくらはぎを噛まれた様子だったが，傷は確認出来なかった。室内収容もスムーズで，収容後は，普段通りで，ダメージは感じられなかった。

Excerpt from observation record
Genki and Momotaro are living together again today.
　Place of cohabitation: central ground (9.30 am - 3.30 pm).
　No contact was observed in the morning, but from 13:15 PM the first contact was observed.
　After feeding on the ground, Momotaro and Genki foraged on the table and near the window to the east ground, respectively. While Genki was searching for food, Momotaro approached Genki.
Genki was caught off guard by Momotaro.
　At that time, Genki was lying face down with little resistance, and Momotaro bit Genki sweetly on the head, took her back and put her in a mount position.
　He then held her down for several minutes. The next four times (five if you include the first time), Genki was backed up, bitten and held down each time.
　Genki fought back and Momotaro escaped or was knocked down. Genki's wounds were found on the left elbow, near the right shoulder blade, on the right thigh, on the back of the right foot, on the right second, fourth and fifth fingers and on the top of the head. All wounds were shallow and many were not visible in the evening. Momotaro appeared to have been bitten on the right calf, but no wounds could be seen. He was housed smoothly in the room, and after being housed, he appeared normal and showed no signs of damage.
