MONSTERS OF THE WEEK: THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDCK:
A Journey Through Butcher Bay (And The Dark Athena)

In the same year as the historical first person shooter Juggernauts Half-Life 2 and Doom 3, the at-the-time quite unknown Swedish developer studio Starbreeze released one of the best movie-license tie-in video games with The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, and delivered a just as great sequel with Assault on Dark Athena 5 years later; two games that are exceedingly hard to come by on PC due to being discontinued in digital stores.
This video is a close examination of those two games and my personal journey of rediscovery of two amazing FPS/RPG/Stealth/Immersive Sim hybrids from the 2000s.
