India has accused China of quote 'unilateraly trying to change the status quo'. This, in a region with a disputed border between both countries. Chinese troops entered this part of Ladakh early in May triggering the Indian troop deployment. We talk to Victor Gao about what prompted the chinese moves. Victor Gao is a former interpreter to Chinese leader Deng Xiapoing and a a Chinese international relations expert.
