First up is Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
Coined by the psychologist William Stern in his 1912 book The Psychological Methods of Testing Intelligence. By definition, it is the ability to think, to reason, to acquire and use knowledge, to solve problems and the ability to understand and analyze situations that may be complex and ambiguous.
Next is Emotional Quotient (EQ)
It is the ability to identify your own emotions and those of others and regulate and manage them. The emotional intelligence quotient covers both personal and interpersonal skills. Based on the mixed model, there are 5 categories or areas of EQ, and they are Self-awareness, Self-regulation, Motivation, Empathy, and Social skills.
Third quotient is Creativity Quotient (CQ)
By definition, CQ or Creativity Quotient is the ability to use existing knowledge in a new situation, to make new connections of logic, explore potential outcomes and generate new ideas.
Another soft quotient, but one of the most important for staying on top of change especially in the digital and technological age. Creativity isn’t only inborn. It can be developed through practice, positive thinking, and being exposed to environment that allows free thinking.
Fourth quotient is Adversity Quotient (AQ)
Another very important quotient. The term was coined by Paul Stoltz in 1997 in his book Adversity Quotient: Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities.
Hence, it is commonly known as the science of resilience. An adversity quotient (AQ) is a score that measures the ability of a person to deal with adversities in his or her life.
Last quotient is Spiritual Quotient (SQ)
Spirituality increases the ability of a person to be creative and to be aware and insightful. It is different from being religious. It is understanding inner peace and the flow of the universe.
Spiritual quotient is the ability to develop our capacity for meaning, vision and value. It allows us to dream and to strive. It’s about the things we believe in and the role our beliefs and values play in the actions that we take. The choices we make in life. Spiritual quotient also helps us explores our potential for better, to obtain a more satisfying life.
