The Fate of Varys! - Game of Thrones Season 8 (Theory)

Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Season 8 Character Breakdown Video. Today I want to talk about Varys and how I think his story will end. There are a number of different theories out there about The Spider but I believe only one makes the most sense. Ever since Varys talked to Melisandre we knew he wouldn't survive much longer because she seemed very confident about his fate. Varys has had this lifelong connection to the flames and it must play some kind of a role in his end game. When he was just a boy a sorcerer cut him and threw his parts in the flames. The flames turned blue and Varys heard a voice answer his call. Ever since then he has been terrified of magic and anyone who worships fire. Varys has had two strange encounters with Melisandre and Kinvara so I think they know exactly how Varys will meet his downfall. There has been some foreshadowing about Varys betraying Daenerys and I think that's exactly what will happen in Game of Thrones Season 8.
