Fight of 4 lions vs 1 (part I of V)

During our safari tour in the impressive Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, we were lucky to observe this incredible fight of 4 lions against 1.
A lone lion is surprised by 4 lions that want to invade a new territory, approaching him from behind. They take advantage of the headwind which makes it impossible for the victim to sense the attackers beforehand by their smell. The attacked lion, which initially tries to escape and then fiercely fights for his life is trying desperately to maintain his territory. Normally, these kind of territory fights between lions are about life or death in most of the cases. There is no mercy for the victim even when it intends to give up and escape.

Durante nuestro safari tour en el impresionante Parque Nacional del Serengueti, en Tanzania, pudimos observar esta increíble lucha de 4 leones contra 1. Un león solitario se ve sorprendido por 4 leones que quieren invadir un nuevo territorio y se acercan por la espalda. Aprovechan que el viento sopla en contra para no ser detectados tampoco por el olfato de víctima.
El león atacado, que en un principio huye, lucha ferozmente por mantener su territorio y por su vida. Las luchas de leones por el territorio son a muerte en muchas ocasiones; no hay piedad para un león que intenta huir.
