Mario Kart 64 Tournament - VA 2017 Finals

These were the finals of the Virginia 2017 MK64 4P VS tournament. Kyle and Jimbo on commentary.

Rules/Info:
24 people were entered in this tournament with the 4 finalists from last year getting a by into the top 16. The remaining 20 players each played 2 rounds of all 16 tracks to try to earn one of the remaining 12 spots.
Each player plays 2 rounds of 16 races each with their opponents based on predetermined seeding in both the play-ins and the top 16.
In the semi finals, there were 2 groups of 4 players. The top 2 from each group moved on to the finals.
For each race, 3 points are awarded for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. The players with the most overall points in their 2 rounds (32 races total) moved on to the top 16. Cups were played in Mushroom, Special, Star, Flower order. Tracks were played with standard non-shortcut rules.
