Yamaha Nmax 155 long distance trip to Alps and Dolomites - Cinematic

I was alone and almost 3 weeks from home and rode about 3.500 km. Because of bad weather I was not as much on the road as I wanted. It rained a lot.

Performance of the Nmax 155:
On long mountain stretches on German freeways, top speed sometimes dropped below 100 km/hour. Not bad at all, since trucks crawl up those roads with speeds less than 40.
On high mountain passes it was an easy going bike: hairpin turns are a piece of cake. Climbing steep hills is no problem, it has enough power. I never went full throttle getting up a mountain pass.
I rode with a Yamaha comfort seat, I don't recommend such a trip with the stock seat. The comfort seat is a lot better, it saved by butt.

Fuel consumption:
In the mountains it was 1:44.
that's more than my average in the Netherlands, which is 1:38.

Nmax compared to Honda Forza 125:
The Nmax is lower, smaller and about 35 kg lighter than the Forza. It fits me better as a 5.4 woman. In the mountains, you want both feet solid on the ground, it's totally different than on a flat surface. I learned that the hard way 5 years ago.
The Forza has a lot more storage room and a very comfortable seat. It also has a bit more power than the Nmax.
The Nmax is easier to handle.
And then there's fuel tank size, Forza has twice the capacity of the Nmax.
