How is it made? Sole created from a vat of lite sensitive Polymer, the light is projected into the liquid to help it create its shaped. Oxygen is a key ingredient. (Like T2) made of of lattices that look like honey combs.

Editor’s Notes: This week adidas is launching its new AlphaEDGE 4D LTD, a running silhouette that blurs the line between performance and streetwear.

The sneaker makes use of CARBON’s Digital Light Synthesis technology, as the midsole has been 4D-crafted using light and oxygen in order to provide controlled energy return for the wearer.

Beginning today (February 12) until February 15 at 12 p.m. PT, customers in the Los Angeles area can utilize the adidas app with hopes of reserving a pair of the AlphaEDGE 4D LTD for $300 USD. Availability will also be through Nice Kicks, Bait, and UNDEFEATED, as well as adidas.com February 17.
