Loop finish
Loop finish on 25 count? Easy peasy! Make a half cross stitch, up in 3, down again in 3 and leave a loop. Come up in 4 and catch the loop. Down in 3, give a tug. Make a tacker stitch at half an inch away so the end gets stitched over. Cut thread short to fabric.
With a short thread you may want to come up in 4 with the back end of your needle.
