Laughter without denial can transform one's life 否定しない笑いが人生を換える | Jugemu RAKUTEI | TEDxKobe
What is "Rakugo Thinking," a mindset born from traditional Japanese storytelling?
How does it impact communication between individuals? Rakutei Jugemu dreams of incorporating "Rakugo Thinking" as a mandatory subject, focusing on "laughter," into mainstream education. Through this, she envisions creating a wonderful world where people can learn the art of humor as part of their essential education. Explore the potential transformation in interpersonal communication and the positive impact this mindset could bring to the world.
RAKUTEI Jugemu, the representative director of the general incorporated association "Laughter," is also known by her real name, OBATA Nanami. Rather than simply teaching the art of Rakugo, she operates as an educator who draws out the participants' individuality through Rakugo.
By using individuality as a weapon to make people laugh, she nurtures the power of self-love. She expands the concept of "laughter education," focusing on creating "laughter that is liked by others." Combining her experience as the winner of the All Japan Student Rakugo Championship with her background as an elementary school teacher, she has independently developed Rakugo teaching materials.
She conducts off-site classes at schools and corporate training sessions, providing Rakugo lessons to over 4500 people in more than 50 events annually over a period of three years. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
