At around 2 in the morning, Battalion 52 transmitted the all hands with heavy fire in a private dwelling. The fire intensified and the 2nd alarm was transmitted for the box. The private vacant dwelling house was used by 2 squatters. The fire is believed to be suspicious and the fire marshal's are investigating the cause of the fire. 9 firefighters and 2 civilians were taken to the hospital with minor injuries at this time. The fire took about 2 hours to be put under control.
