Firefighter struck by vehicle while on call to 911

Monitor Township Firefighter Jeff Sargeson was on the phone with 911 dispatchers from the scene of a crash on US-10 near I-75 on Jan. 1, 2024 when he was struck by another vehicle. Sargeson survived the incident. The person who struck him fled the scene. (Provided by Bay County Central Dispatch)
