Goodwood Road Underpass floods

There's nothing more Australian that egging on someone to do something risky.

On the 22nd of January 2016, Adelaide experienced a sudden storm which resulted in flash flooding. Storm drains could not cope with the large amounts of rainfall, which caused most of the inner southern suburbs in Adelaide to flood.

After the storm had cleared, I drove to find the Goodwood Rd underpass completely flooded. Southbound traffic was completely stuck, and unless 100 cars were all going to all reverse in unison, the only way across was to just forge the water and see what happens.

On the foot path, bystanders cheered and clapped as everyone had their go. There's nothing more Australian that egging on your fellow countryman to have a go.
