Turn plain SCRAPBOOK PAPER into ADORABLE Mixed Media ART!

I LOVE to decoupage and often collage scrapbook paper in the backgrounds of my mixed media art. Today’s mixed media tutorial is THE OPPOSITE! Grab a wood canvas, canvas board (or your art journal!), 3-4 sheets of scrapbooking paper, some mod podge, & create this adorable NO DRAW collage art with me!!

The inspiration for today's collage canvas came from a book by Julie Nutting that I've been IN LOVE with since 2011! (Link below). As you'll see, I'm doing my decoupage on wood today. When I'm using a wood panel canvas, I typically don't do any acrylic painting in the background because I love to see that naked wood peaking through!

This project is easy enough for beginners & super relaxed for seasoned artists!
