When you come to Istanbul for the very first time you can hardly disagree this place is sometimes called The city of cats. Cats are everywhere though I believe it's a common feature for different places around the world situated near some ocean/sea/lake. Basically any other place with mild climate and tons of tourists willing to feed those furry little guys might sound as a great idea of home for the population of cats. And of course places full of fish of all kinds.
