Summer’s just about here. Or it is here. Or it just passed. Depending on when you’re actually watching this. But there’s one thing that means summer here in the US. Beaches!

Every year, 59 million Americans go to the beach. And they likely get sunburned and won’t take off their shirts. Cause we’re out of shape.

Going to the beach is a big deal for those of us who are lucky enough to live near one. But some beaches are better than others.

So, bust out the sunscreen and make sure to bring extra change for the parking meter. We’re gonna tour the absolute crummiest beach towns in the country.

Places include those in Florida, California, New Jersey, South Carolina and New York. Atlantic City and Myrtle Beach, and some beaches in Los Angeles made the cut.

These are the places where there's beach crime, crowded beaches, and where beaches get bad reviews.
