Finished! First Run, final tuning, DT-03 reinforcements ... and first break down! Running a Tamiya DT-02 MS Sand Viper with a Tamiya TBLM-02S 10.5T Brushless motor and 2S LiPo. Fully equipped with TRF dampers, universal axles, ball bearings, ball differential, DT-03/DT-02 reinforcements and hop-ups. It was a joy to build and a joy to run.

Today was the day when I finally finished my winter project, a rebuild of a Tamiya DT-02 MS Sand Viper, and even got to run it … a little before I managed to smash it into a curb! Luckily both dampers where intact and I only have to invest in an affordable plastic parts tree. Looking forward running it off road for the first time, now that I know that everything works (apart from my driving abilities).

This is part 5 of my Tamiya DT-02 MS Sand Viper Project. Basically a rescue mission, saving a Tamiya DT-02 MS Limited Edition 2007 (model 49475) from oblivion and bringing it back into action. You will find part 1-4 in my channel. More videos of the Tamiya DT-02 MS Sand Viper are sure to turn up in the future!

The Tamiya DT-02 MS is a Tamiya DT-02 Sand Viper that came stock with hop-up parts and special decals from the TRF driver Satoshi Maezumi in 2007. Same thing has been done to the Tamiya DF-03 Dark Impact and the Tamiya TT-02B Dual RIdge.
