State 6: Florida Panhandle Beaches

I spent this week traveling along the Florida panhandle in my diy campervan, exploring the hidden gem beaches along the way. We visit Cape San Blas Beach, Panama City Beach, Seagrove Beach, and Navarre Beach in Florida. I also visited Florida's only successful lavender farm, Southern Grace Lavender Farm.

When you think of traveling to Florida beaches, you probably think of high costs and crowded sands. Traveling in my van along the beaches on the Florida Panhandle made paradise inexpensive! Vanlife is an amazing way to budget travel, even in Florida. Everywhere along the Panhandle I stayed, I stayed for free. Parking included beachside lots, a Wal-Mart parking lot, and Harvest Host.

The Southern Grace Lavender Farm is a Harvest Host location, which means I can park there for free with my Harvest Host membership in exchange for purchasing a locally made product (ie. MY VAN: 2001 Dodge Ram Van 3500 High-Top, converted from a handicap passenger van

MY DISCLAIMER: Most of the labor I did on my van was my first time doing those things, so I am very much not an expert.
