Singapore to Denmark overland solo | 26,000km, 18 countries, 3 months | All roads lead to Noma

From April 2016 I travelled from Singapore to Denmark overland solo over 26,000km, 18 countries and 3 months to visit the four-time world's best restaurant, Noma. You can read more about my trip at http://www.allroadsleadtonoma.com. A year ago today I arrived at the restaurant.

It had always been a dream of mine to visit Noma, so when a friend jokingly suggested we try and get a table, I said "yeah, and I'll get there by land" (I was studying in Singapore) ...and then I realised I wasn't joking. I decided to go all-out and make a website for it.

How much did it all cost? About $4,500 AUD ($3,500 USD) for 3 months on the road. This includes accommodation, travel, visas, gear and food. Keep in mind I was travelling very cheaply: hostels, hitch-hiking, couchsurfing, street food - I slept outside a few times, so that was free.

Was the meal worth it? Yes!! Without a doubt the best meal I've ever had - check out my blog post about it for pictures (http://allroadsleadtonoma.com/day-93-noma/).

Thanks to everyone I met along the way - whether I met you in a hostel or you let me sleep on your couch or you gave me a ride, the most memorable parts of this trip were the people I met.

I do not own any of the soundtrack, property and rights for audio go to Depeche Mode and Iggy Pop.
