Resetting our species for the next century | Amelie de Marsily | TEDxIEMadrid
To which category of Homo Sapiens do you think you belong? The one that believes that the world is just one big gambling table where you sit with another 7.8 billion human beings, throwing dice waiting for a random result? Or on the contrary, do you think there is no such thing as an odd at all, but rather a string of predictable results all driven by the smartest person in the room? Maybe you’re in-between or have no opinion at all on the matter!
Watch this video to find out what the odds are that, as a species, we will be able to reset ourselves! Amélie is deeply interested in people and leadership. She lives her life guided by curiosity and is attracted to new ventures and exploration of places, projects, and people – with unwavering positivity! She is currently the Academic Director for IE’s recently created Center for Health, Well-being & Happiness. Prior to joining IE, she worked at Cisco Systems, a global IT and networking company, as a lawyer and then as a business leader, having before that trained and practiced as an avocat in Paris. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
