BREATHTAKING ELEVATED VIEWS | BLISSFUL NIGHTS | CASTAIC LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA CAMPGROUND -EP169

CASTAIC LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA PARK AND CAMPGROUND IS AN OASIS OF BREATHTAKING BEAUTY AND TRANQUILITY ONLY 45 MINUTES NORTH WEST OF LOS ANGELES. This campground is ideal for most RV's except the "larger" 5th wheels and motorhomes. Some of the sites you are actually parallel parking in rather than backing in. The campground is divided into three sections, A,B and C. You need to call the park to see if they can accommodate your RV. There is a dump station on site. Rest rooms were modern & and clean. You will be dry camping with no hookups. Generator use is allowed. Our 44 foot Class A Motorhome would only fit in the last two spots in the "C" section, sites #16 and #17. We stayed in site #17 and think it is the better of the two! The views and night sky were awesome. The howl of the coyote's at sundown added to the adventure!
