Die Gemütlichen Schuhplattler performed at the annual Mai Bockfest held at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim.

May is here! We celebrated Maifest and Bockbierfest together in Mai Bockfest in the Biergarten with live music by the Da Stube Buben, traditional folk dances, and the election of our Maikönigin (May Queen)!

This joint Program by the Phoenix Club, the German American League, and the Deutsch-Amerikanische Schulverein Südkaliforniens (GASA) started at 12:30 PM, with a short Parade of flags represented by the clubs attending. Of course, the weather was perfect to enjoy great Bier and German cuisine and fun Kinderfest activities such as Arts and Crafts for the children.
