Himalayan snowcock calls, Sarychat Ertash state reserve (Kyrgyzstan), 2016 - OSI-Panthera

Here you can hear various birdsongs but also alarm call. This gregarious species regroup every evening on crest. There are singing everytime in order to stay in contact.
First it is a young Himalayan snowcock (Tetraogallus himalayensis) calling his congeners on a crest at ~3 400m. Then, you can hear the alert of one of their congener that detected a danger. On the last images you can hear the typical song when they detect a predator they let themself hover until the valley.
Registred in 2016 in Sarychat-Ertash nature state reserve (Kyrgyzstan) by OSI-Panthera's camera trap (http://osi-panthera.org) of the NGO Objectif Sciences International (http://vacances-scientifiques.com).
