1. Amazing Galaxy Paint Pour Tutorial
Let's go to a Galaxy far far away!
In this video I'll be flying you through (literally) some basic paint pouring & show you how YOU can achieve a beautiful spacescape.
My first video is here & I just need to add that this one is dedicated to my Dad who I sadly lost in 2019, he played a huge part in where I am now with my art, he was a gifted man.. he also loved space/time so this one is for him.. my art helped my healing then & is still working it's magic now.. hope you made it out there Dad x

So! after being asked time and time again, how did you do that!? I figured this would be easier than trying to explain over & over... I will add, paint pouring is fairly new to me & not my main art style but I do love to mix my art up a bit, experiment & apply several techniques and mediums.. that's why art is great, there's no rules!
Materials below for what I have used, I'm keeping it pretty simple so hopefully anyone can have a go but you can use whatever you have, maybe swap out for some different colours, go all out metallic or add silicone to your paint for some crazy cells... whatever you do, I would love to see what you create so please check out my social links below, come say hello & see my other work in progress, I really do like to connect!
Materials used:
Wood Panel
Daler Rowney Acrylics & Colvin & Co Acrylics:
Black - Titanium White - Coeruleum Blue - Voilet & Gold
PVA Glue
Water
WD40 - for the silicone properties
Blow Torch - To disperse any air bubbles, take extra care please!
Short Haired Round Brush
Fine Brush
Rubber Gloves
Paint Ratio for pouring: 1 part paint to 1/2 PVA glue and a splash of water, you should aim for a warm honey consistency with your mix.
I am using a dry brush technique, which is a dry brush straight to the paint then blot the excess off on paper/towel and use a stippling/blotting motion to achieve a soft, gradient effect.
