How to Properly Start Your Car (in the winter)
Many people don't know the proper way to start your car in the winter. Here is a quick rundown (more detail in the video):
1. Insert and turn key to the 'ON' position.
2. Notice a fluid type noise and electric pumping. This is fuel reaching the engine.
3. Wait approximately 3 seconds until the pumping stops and proceed to the 'Start' position with the key to activate the starter.
4. Release as normal.
This will assure proper fuel pressure is reaching the injectors before attempting to start, which is critical in extreme cold.
Enjoy!
