PM treating Australians ‘like a bunch of fools’: Steve Price

The Albanese government has been exposed as being “tricky” and “willing to lie” to stay in office, following the announcement of the stage three tax cut changes, says Sky News host Steve Price.

Mr Price said the Prime Minister’s National Press Club address on Thursday was a “very clear example he's out of his depth and is no leader”.

“In summary, he lied on Adelaide radio this week when (he) was asked a direct question and didn't settle on the tax cut changes, he says, until this Tuesday.

“And all because – and you have to laugh at this – Anthony Albanese went to supermarkets and talked to average Australians, he said.

“And laughingly, he spoke to people in Canberra restaurants – mean seriously, Anthony, you are treating us like fools.”
