Advanced VOR Navigation Tutorial for FSX (Part-1: Flying to The Station)
There are many tutorials on VOR, many of which don't make much sense. In this video I have tried to explain VOR navigation as clear as possible, using an example, where we takeoff from KLAX, go to a particular VOR station (115.7MHz), and return to KLAX again. This is a tutorial on how to navigate using your VOR instrument. If you're not familiar with the basics of VOR navigation, I suggest you watch my introductory video on VOR navigation. In part-1 of this video, we will see how we can select a proper path to a particular station and how we can intercept that path and fly across it in order to arrive at the VOR station of our interest.
