Q: What if I try all these steps and it still wont work?
A: If all of the steps here didnt identify the issue and the computer didnt display to an external monitor then we are left with your motherboard being the problem. It should be replaced. Q: My computer displays to an external monitor but wont display on its own.
A: If your computer displays to an external monitor but not to its own LCD, then your issue is most likely with your LCD or LCD Cable. Try 'Reseating' the cable first by unplugging it from both ends. Then, plug it back in. If that does not help, replace the LCD and Cable one at a time.
