Maker Spaces: The Donald J. Claflin Jewelry Studio

At Dartmouth’s Donald J. Claflin Jewelry Studio, students and faculty can explore their creative side by working with a wide variety of materials to create just about any kind of jewelry they can imagine. “I like the freedom you have to do pretty much whatever you want,” Matthew Rabito ’18 says. “The speed at which you can change metal and how mutable it is, and the fact that it all happens just with your own two hands really gets me.”
