Many Electrical Contactor Types and Code available in the market, So we have to find the suitable Contactor code and type of Magnetic Contactor Classification which we want.

AC-1: These duty contactors are used in resistive loads such as heaters and Boiler. Non-inductive or slightly inductive loads are included that means the power factor of the load between 0.95 to 1.

Example for AC1: Power-Load-bank, Iron, Heaters, Electric Furnace etc...

AC-2: This type contactor uses in a slip-ring motor starters such as Switching on and off the motor. It is mostly prefered for high Torque current applications.
