Deadly venomous Rhinoceros viper (Bitis nasicornis) is one of the most beautiful snakes in the world. This big viper species lives in forests of Africa. Rhinoceros vipers (also known as river jack) are well camouflaged in the leaf litter, although it seems that their colorful body must be well visible. This species rarely bites people as it usually lives deep in the tropical forest. It is endangered by habitat loss and collecting for pet trade. Rhinoceros viper and Gaboon viper hybridize and produce gabino. Gabino viper is extremely colorful hybrid and we were lucky to see one in the wild.
